Additionally, the SSA aims to facilitate the transfer of expertise, skills, and knowledge from the Somaliland diaspora to their homeland, enabling them to contribute meaningfully without the necessity of permanently relocating. Through our collective efforts, we strive to foster sustainable development and meet the pressing needs of the communities we serve.

The Somaliland Swiss Association (SSA) is committed to enhancing the health status of targeted communities through the transfer of knowledge and expertise within the health sector. We achieve this by providing health facilities and training programs for medical personnel—such as doctors, nurses, and midwives—operating in regional hospitals and urban areas of Somaliland. Our goal is to improve the quality of healthcare delivery to those in need.

SSA staff consists of a diverse and dynamic group of skilled professionals from various backgrounds. Our leadership structure includes a Board of Directors and a Management Team, led by the Executive Director. Key members of our team possess a wealth of expertise in project proposal writing, planning, implementation, and monitoring of programs, as well as report writing, research, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E). Additionally, our team is equipped with innovative skills in coordination, management, and health training. Together, we strive to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of the communities we serve.
